Dynamic, virtuosic, and impossible to ignore, Opal Ocean are an Australian guitar duo breaking new ground in the world of acoustic music. Since their debut “Terra” EP in 2015, Alex Champ and Nadav Tabak have built a reputation for blending the raw energy of rock with the intricate textures of world and progressive sounds. Their viral single “JAM” racked up more than 50 million views, announcing their arrival as a force on the international scene. Their first album, “Lost Fables” (2016), took them across Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and Europe, earning devoted fans everywhere they played. With “The Hadal Zone” (2020), they expanded their sonic universe, collaborating with Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater) on the track “Polycephaly”—a bold move that showcased their ambition and artistry. Since then, they have performed at the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix, partnered with Godin Guitars, and appeared on “Slovakia/Czech Republic's Got Talent” (2024). Their first live album, recorded during their 2022 European tour, captures the electricity and emotion of their concerts, bringing listeners into the heart of the experience. After a busy 2024 touring Europe and Canada, Opal Ocean are now preparing their third studio album—ready to take their sound to the next level.
