Young Stage is a stage for the future—a format that gives young artists the chance to showcase their talent, gain experience, and take the next step in their musical career. It is a springboard for new voices, fresh sounds, and bold ideas.
On this evening, the first act will be Camilla Portner, a young Basel-based artist with Sardinian roots. She combines emotional depth with catchy melodies and moves stylistically between powerful pop ballads and danceable sounds. For Portner, music is a place where feelings take shape. Every line, every sound springs from the need to make something invisible audible. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Music in Lucerne with a focus on jazz vocals—a background that shapes her musical language and further sharpens her sense of expression and sound.
The second act, Jego, creates soundscapes somewhere between indie folk and chamber pop with a slight circus flair—sometimes delicate and melancholic, sometimes playful and exuberant. Her songs tell of self-doubt, social commentary, and the dizzying interplay of emotions. She performs music that touches, stirs, whispers softly, and laughs out loud.
Tickets are CHF 15 in advance and CHF 20 at the door; students receive a CHF 5 discount.
