RecordKick

On this day, a piece of sports history will be written at the St. Jakob sports complex in Basel: The goal is to break the Guinness World Record for the largest football match—which was established in 1997 by 116 versus 124 players from Basel-Stadt and Baselland. They are hoping for at least 260 women to participate, who will play on a mega soccer pitch made up of eight regular pitches. All women age 16 and older are welcome to participate, regardless of their football experience. Check-in starts at 13:45; welcome, warm-up, and match information start at 14:15, and the match will be from 15:30-16:20. The match will be 2x 20 minutes, played with 10 balls simultaneously on 10 goals.
Register alone, with a friend, or as a group. RekordKick is designed to be a collaborative experience that brings people together and where the fun of playing is the main goal. Spectators are also catered for—children and accompanying adults can look forward to a varied supporting program with activities, cultural contributions, and a diverse range of culinary offerings from 16:30-21:00. It will be a celebration for the whole family!
