Solsberg Festival — Concert 2: Chamber Music

Klosterkirche Olsberg
Friday, 26 June
19:30

It is with great pleasure that Sol Gabetta, organizer of the Solsberg Festival, invites you to celebrate the 21st anniversary of this music festival. From June 25 to July 5, 2026, the unique, sacred Baroque spaces on the Upper Rhein will once again be transformed into places of inspiration and musical togetherness. The festival remains true to its philosophy and continues to stand for high musical quality and an intimate atmosphere with a focus on chamber music. Musical highlights include performances by loyal companions and true "all-stars" of the festival.
No one will be able to resist the infectious joy of making music displayed by these young musicians! The program perfectly embodies their musical work: Baroque, jazz, and modern music are performed with passion and conviction! On the program are Antonio Vivaldi’s Concerto for Two Violins in A minor, op. 3, no. 8, RV 522; Bushra El-Turk’s "Ka" Concerto for Percussion and String Orchestra; George Gershwin’s Concerto-Fantasy on Themes from the Opera "Porgy and Bess"; Georg Friedrich Händel / Johan Halvor Sen’s Passacaglia in G minor; Lucas Campara Diniz’s "Imaginarium"; and Astor Piazzolla’s "La Muerte del Ángel" and "Las Cuatro Estaciones Porteñas."
Tickets are CHF 19-49 for adults, half price for students, and CHF 15 for kids under age 16.
