Blues Pills & DeWolff — Double Bill Tour 2026

In this concert, soulful blues rock from Sweden with a female vocalist meets the raw 70s rock of the Dutch band DeWolff. This co-headlining tour by these two live giants promises a night of pure retro power.
From the very beginning, the Swedish band Blues Pills were a bit different during the big retro-rock wave. Instead of focusing on the influences of Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath like many of their contemporaries, the quartet presented themselves as more playful, vibrant, and with more groove than the competition. The quartet creates a rock 'n' roll atmosphere that leads directly to their musical ancestors: early Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and Cactus. It's hard to believe that these time travelers based in Örebro, Sweden, are quite young. Singer Elin Larsson's voice is often compared to Aretha Franklin or Janis Joplin. Together with the other original band member, Zack Anderson, she writes most of the band's lyrics. They deal with big themes such as the search for one's soul, the meaning of life, but also family and friends. Blues Pills exude authenticity, maintaining their own distinct identity alongside their love for everything that was anyone in San Francisco in the late 60s.
The trio DeWolff from Limburg is completely dedicated to the rock sound of the 70s and celebrates another rousing retro-rock party on their latest album, "Muscle Shoals." With this new release, the hottest live act in the Netherlands returns to Switzerland. Founded in 2007, the trio has grown from their teenage beginnings into a force on the international vintage rock scene thanks to outstanding albums and passionate live performances. Starting out at a time when no trend guru was yet clamoring for "retro," DeWolff can confidently be called pioneers of this scene. The musical brothers Luka (drums, vocals) and Pablo van de Poel (guitar, vocals), together with the accomplished Hammond organist Robin Piso, have long since proven that they are capable of both storming the charts and tearing up the biggest festival stages. In May 2024, they traveled to Muscle Shoals, Alabama, to record their 10th album with Grammy Award-winning producer Ben Tanner (Alabama Shakes) in two legendary studios. With "Muscle Shoals", DeWolff celebrate the 70s in every note of their sophisticated tracks and raw psychedelic southern rock at the highest level.
Tickets are CHF 50.
