Le Corso Fleuri (Flower Parade)

Sélestat (France)
16:00-24:00 (Sat.) | 10:00-18:00 (Sun.)

The Alsatian town of Sélestat celebrates the colorful beauty of flowers in a creative festival atmosphere each August with Le Corso Fleuri—a parade, festival, and party, all around the theme of flowers. For the 96th year, Sélestat, as well as the inhabitants of neighboring communities, meet for a parade of flower-laden floats and a host of other entertainment and activities. In 2025, three major anniversaries will be celebrated in Sélestat, including the 25 years of partnership with Europa-Park. There will be 12 floats decorated with thousands of colorful dahlias.
The festivities will start on Saturday in the center of town at 16:00, followed by the vintage car parade at 17:45, and the day parade at 18:00. The night parade at 22:00 will be preceded by the vintage car parade at 21:45. A grand fireworks display at midnight will crown the day filled with music, folklore, strolling, and children’s activities. The festivities continue on Sunday with many activities in the streets of town, the exhibition of the 12 flowered floats, a wine fair, a market filled with local delicacies, entertainment, and so much more; check the full program online. The town of Sélestat is a little over an hour from Basel and can be reached by car and by train.
