How do different societies imagine the transition from this world to the beyond? How do they configure it, and what path does a soul or a deceased person set out on? The exhibition explores what lies between the two realms. It shows how these beliefs find expression in material culture. You will find answers in the exhibition, which rounds out the approximately 300 exhibits with depictions from art and popular culture, as well as neurological research results.
