Duo Abeu — Between Success and Oblivion

The two musicians of Duo Abeu—flutist Aurora Pajón and pianist Fernando Santirso—met during their studies in Spain and are now pursuing their careers in various European countries. With this program, entitled “Between Success and Oblivion,” they musically reunite, highlighting three Swiss composers and introducing their works to audiences in Spain and Switzerland. They also have the opportunity to present and showcase two world premieres by two Swiss composers. Diversity was a key criterion in the design of the program. It includes works by classical and contemporary composers—both established and forgotten—and covers a wide range of genres and forms of expression. This is achieved without cultural or social barriers—within an inclusive and enriching artistic framework.
