X roid—International Instant Art Expo Basel 2026 is an international exhibition dedicated to the magic and immediacy of instant photography. X roid Basel 2026 presents over 90 unique instant images by 27 artists from 12 countries, including Germany, Italy, France, Sweden, Hong Kong, the Philippines, the United States and other international positions. This makes X roid one of the most important Polaroid exhibitions in Europe. Many of the participating artists will be on site in person during the exhibition, enabling a direct exchange with the public.
The diversity and expressiveness of instant photo art can be seen in spontaneous snapshots, deliberately staged scenes, and experimental works on real Polaroid film. The works are immediate, poetic, raw, and full of creative energy—each image an unrepeatable moment. Celebrate the beauty of the moment at the first edition of the X roid in Basel.
