Cori Nora makes music to combat stagnation. With a keen sense for the pulse of the present, she weaves observations of our world into sound—alert, agile, in constant flux. Her second album, “Pleasure and Focus,” recorded live with her four-piece band in Porto, is an uncompromising affirmation of the now: seven songs, one space, one shared focus.
