The Basler Wymärt is a small, fine, and friendly wine fair. At this special market, 45 exhibitors will each have their finest wines on display for your tasting pleasure (for a list of the vendors, go to their website and click on “Aussteller”). It will take place at the Alte Markthalle (a short walk from the SBB), a trendy location for eating and drinking. Come by public transport and enjoy!
Note that entry to the Basler Wymärt is only permitted to people ages 18 and over. Dogs are not allowed.
If you register with the Basler Wymärt, entrance to the wine fair costs CHF 10; everyone else pays CHF 20. Note that entrance fee is refunded on all orders over CHF 100. You will also need to leave a CHF 10 deposit for a wine glass, which will be reimbursed to you upon exit. There is no need to register in advance and no obligation to buy, but entrance is restricted to ages 18 and over.
