10:00-17:30

Thirty winemakers from the Guebwiller wine region in Alsace (from Thann to Hattstatt) will present exclusively milésime for the year in a free wine-tasting session. Originally, the fair was very popular with restaurateurs, allowing professionals to discover vintages of the previous year. Now, the general public has taken over the event and every year, tourists and locals get together on Ascension Day in Guebwiller for an exceptional day out.
It is a party for your taste buds, with more than 180wines free to taste! In addition to the wine market, you can discover your favorite producers of regional products like bread, meat, biscuits, cheese, saffron, etc. Once again this year, there will be a “Marché des papilles” (taste-buds market) where visitors can discover cheeses, jams, honey, foie gras, terrine, beer, juices, cookies and other baked goods, and so much more! A host of events will accompany this special Ascension day; check the online program for the list and times. While the market ends at 17:30, entertainment continues until 20:00.
Entrance is free; a wine-tasting glass costs € 8.
