This two-day open-air concert festival takes place at Sarasinpark in Riehen. Founded in 2001 and organized entirely by volunteers, this non-commercial festival has established itself as a fixture in the Basel region. For 25 years, HillChill has brought people of all ages together and provided a platform for established and up-and-coming local musicians, as well as for cultural engagement. Get ready for a creatively designed festival site, fantastic music, good vibes, and local beer.
Various bands will play from 19:30-24:00 on Friday and 18:00-24:00 on Saturday. As there is little parking, taking public transport is recommended; you can take tram 6 to “Fondation Beyeler” and then walk through the park entrance across from the entrance to the Fondation Beyeler. Day tickets (Friday or Saturday) are CHF 16 for full price and CHF 8 for youths, students, pensioners, and disabled persons. Two-day tickets can be purchased for CHF 28 (full-price) or CHF 14 (reduced-price).
