Tierpark Lange Erlen will be the location for this annual farmers’ market featuring a variety of products from ancient or rare species of plants and animal breeds.Visitors can purchase fine products from ProSpecieRara-certified farms at numerous stalls; enjoy specialties made from sheep, beef, goat, and Mangalica pigs; sample organic products; and experience rare breeds such as Mangalica pigs, Grisons radiant goat, Diepholz goose, Appenzell pointed hood, and Swiss chicken. By purchasing the products from rare plant varieties or animal breeds, visitors give their palate completely new impressions and at the same time contribute to the preservation of these varieties and breeds.
