Das Phantom der Oper 2026

The Phantom rages as a disfigured, feared, and internally tormented being in the catacombs of the Paris Opera. Christine is torn between her childhood sweetheart, Count Raoul de Chagny, and her mysterious mentor, with whose help her voice achieves captivating beauty. "I know whom I love, now I must know whom I must hate." This line perfectly encapsulates the delicate love triangle of the world-famous story of "The Phantom of the Opera." Since 2010, the musical production by Sasson/Sautter has captivated audiences on stages across Europe. The enforced hiatus of the COVID-19 pandemic was used creatively to completely rework the production musically. For this, the successful British musician Ryan Martin was brought on board, who has composed and arranged music for, among others, Cirque du Soleil, “America's Got Talent,” and many others. Besides the exuberance of the large stage ensemble and the breathtaking music, the spectacular stage design is particularly captivating. It thrives on the impressive, three-dimensional video projections by internationally acclaimed multimedia artist Daniel Stryjecki, as well as the magnificent stage elements designed and built by Michael Scott of the Metropolitan Opera in New York. This production will be performed in German.
Tickets are CHF 62.50-122.90 for adults; discounts for students and kids.
