Once again, the charitable organizations Zonta International and Soroptimist International Switzerland (Clubs Basel und Liestal) are organizing a charity bag sale. They will be collecting ladies’ handbags in good condition and selling them to raise money for their organizations that help women in need—refugee, poor, victimized, or regional women in difficult situations. If you have any handbags in good and clean condition, you can donate them for the sale at various locations in Basel and Baselland. Visit their website for a list of drop-off locations; ; the deadline to donate bags is March 22. The handbag sale will take place at the Elisabethenkirche in Basel on April 5 from 10:00-16:00. Be sure to stop by and pick out a great new handbag or two for yourself in support of this event!
