ZOA City, an open-air music festival that takes place at the beautiful Dolder ice skating arena in Zürich, is an extension of the well-known Zürich Open-Air (ZOA) music festival. Massive Attack, one of the most important bands in electronic music, will kick off this year’s edition on June 16. Trance music’s poster boy, Marlon Hoffstadt, will be performing on June 20, followed by Berlin’s Paul Kalkbrenner on June 21 and Belgium’s Lost Frequencies on June 28. The French electronic music duo, Justice, consisting of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay will grace the stage on July 2. On July 5, Australian tech-house producer Paul Fisher (aka Fisher) will bring a sense of carefree fun when he focuses on serving the dancefloor. The London-born singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Jacob Collier, will take the stage on July 8; RÜFÜS DU SOL will perform on July 9; and Louis Tomlinson, former member of the world-famous band One Direction, will be the final act of this year’s ZOA City on July 11.
Parking is extremely limited and public transport is therefore recommended. You can take the train to Zürich, and from there, your festival ticket includes free shuttle buses and the ticket for the return trip on the city network (zone 110, 2nd class).
Tickets are CHF 59-89; VIP CHF 129-139.
