The Blues Festival Basel will once again be taking place this spring! From April 4-6, you can immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere at the Volkshaus, with a mixture of club table comfort, stylish seating on the ground floor and balcony, and dynamic standing areas. Experience international stars and top-class Swiss acts on stage!

For this 23rd edition, the festival starts on Friday with a brilliant opening—The Bluestooth, winner of last year’s “Promo Blues Band 2024,” will start you off in a bluesy mood, followed by world-renowned Swiss blues musician and songwriter Philipp Fankhauser with his “Something Tour 2025.” On Saturday, the audience can look forward to an evening with the great Sant Andreu Jazz Band; the youth jazz band from Barcelona will be bringing all their talents to the Blues Festival Basel. The festival ends on Sunday with the legendary “Super Sunday All Star Blues Brunch”—an enjoyable conclusion with first-class live music and culinary delights in the historic Unionsaal of the Volkshaus Basel.
