The Blues Festival Basel, which takes place annually in the spring, will this year take place in March in the unique setting of the Atlantis in Basel. On this evening, the traditional Promo Blues Night will kick off the Blues Festival Basel 2026. The focus of this evening will be on up-and-coming musicians: three acts selected by an international jury of experts will compete against each other with a 30-minute set each, presenting their very own interpretation of the blues. You can count on an authentic evening full of energy, emotion, passion, and musical discoveries. The Basel platform for young musicians—who impress with their technical skill, stage presence, and passion—also provides an inspiring opportunity for sponsors to promote up-and-coming talent and become part of these unique success stories. The winning band can look forward to a performance in the official program of the Basel Blues Festival 2027—an important step on the way to a bigger stage.
