The popularity of cider is on the rise, and this hasn't just happened yesterday. It's high time that enthusiasts had the opportunity to sample the universe of flavors offered by local producers. At the Cider Festival, you can expect nine cider producers from Switzerland presenting their wonderful products together for the first time—31 different ciders.
From traditional cider as you have always known it to sweet, modern interpretations, single-variety, and spontaneously fermented variations, you can expect everything—with or without alcohol, with or without fizz. There will even be an ice cider on offer. You can experience the passion of the makers behind the apple wines and ciders, who together represent an interesting and at the same time flavorful day centered around the fermented apple juice and allow you to learn more about their products and cider as a beverage in general.
Admission is free; tasting glass is CHF 3, and tasting portions start at CHF 2.
