Discover Basel’s craft beer scene with a passionate beer sommelier and local resident (in English and French). Dive into a world of aromas, fun anecdotes, tasting techniques, and the stories behind different beer styles. On the menu: two venues visited (a young, creative brewery in a fast-evolving neighborhood, off the usual tourist trails, and one of Switzerland’s must-visit craft beer bars), eight different beers (10 cl each), more than 2 hours of fun, in a small group of 6-10 people.
The tour is for anyone interested in becoming familiar with different beer styles, discovering their aromatic richness, and learning how to taste like a pro—all in unique, off-the-beaten-path locations. This is not a brewing course, although the main brewing methods will be explained in broad terms. All the participants must be age 18 and older.
Cost is CHF 79 per person for the tour. Transportation is paid by the participant and snacks can be ordered at your cost.
