Dance is beautiful in all its facets. That's why this project of Theater Public—together with Iljaz Jusufi and Tanzfest Basel—wants to celebrate the exchange of diverse dance styles again this year in a 1-on-1 battle, giving the diversity of dance a shared stage. Whether it's breaking, hip hop, contemporary dance, experimental, popping, house, tap, waacking, Bollywood, and many more—all styles are welcome! The winners of the battle can look forward to prize money totaling CHF 1,000. People of all backgrounds and ages are welcome to participate or attend as a spectator. The event takes place in the foyer of Theater Basel. The sign-up starts at 12:00 and the dance battle starts at 13:00; the battle match-ups are determined by a draw.
