Experience a unique open-air highlight: The organization Stiftung Hopp-la, together with Pro Senectute Basel and HealthEXPO Basel, invites everyone to Switzerland's first and largest outdoor intergenerational dance on this afternoon. At 13:00, the Messe Basel will transform into a vibrant dance floor. This intergenerational event brings together young and old, promotes joy, health, and community—and impressively demonstrates that dancing knows no age; dancing is for everyone. This shared dance experience will be led by a professional dancer and dance teacher with many years of experience in dance instruction. Step by step, you will learn simple moves that everybody can then dance together—full of energy, fun, and laughter. Everyone is welcome, no dance experience is necessary. The big goal is to break the 500-participant mark, so come along, bring your favorite people, and become part of a special moment that brings joy, connects people, and perhaps even makes Swiss dance history.
