The open-air music festival Moon and Stars takes place in front of the unique backdrop of the Piazza Grande in Locarno, a breathtaking venue that accommodates about 12,000 spectators. For about 10 days, international pop and rock stars celebrate with the audience in spectacular surroundings. The venue can be reached in about 3 hours by car; however, it is recommended to take the train to Locarno; the venue is about 500 m from the main station.
