A huge, electrifying voice, an outstanding band, and an irresistibly grooving live soul train—after her success with “Voice of Switzerland,” various awards, and records with gold status, Nicole Bernegger founded her own label, Alien Pearl Records, in 2019, on which she has now released her fourth album “Back to You.” Recorded in Basel with her band consisting of long-standing musicians friends, Bernegger produced it herself for the first time and impressively shows the entire spectrum of her music—vintage soul, retro pop, Motown, and a pinch of Woodstock are lovingly incorporated into the music for the band’s typical sound.
