Founded in Bournemouth in 1990, Big Big Train—who have released 17 studio albums and various EPs and live releases—have become internationally successful leaders in the progressive rock genre and can look back on high international chart positions, various prestigious awards, and countless sold-out concerts. Big Big Train remain true to their roots but also explore new paths. They incorporate influences from various genres and have established themselves as accomplished cross-genre artists bridging pop, rock, and prog in the style of early ’70s English bands.
In October 2025, the band released “Are We Nearly There Yet? — Live Around The World,” a comprehensive concert recording that serves as a thrilling documentation of their most recent tours. On their European tour, the band will once again present songs from every phase of their three-and-a-half-decade career, including on this evening in Pratteln.
