ST-ART is the region’s leading contemporary art fair. With 30 years of success under its belt, ST-ART is the must-attend event for contemporary art enthusiasts and collectors. More than 60 galleries participate, offering an artistic experience in the heart of Strasbourg. Once again this year, galleries from Alsace, France, and abroad will be taking part. Yannick Kraemer Gallery from Strasbourg, Galerie Murmure from Colmar, Justbee Galerie from Masevaux, Galerie Espiral from Noja, Spain, and Pigment Gallery from Barcelona are returning, while new international galleries, such as Galerie Urbaneez from Lausanne and Anaid Art Gallery from Bucharest, are joining the event for the first time this year.
With glass art in its DNA, ST-ART showcases glass artists and the galleries that support them. Nestled near the Vosges forests, Alsace has remained a center of excellence for the arts of fire for several centuries. Three exceptional glass art sites, collectively known as ‘Les étoiles terrestres’, are joining ST-ART to showcase the richness of crystal craftsmanship: the Lalique Museum, the Meisenthal glassworks, and the Saint Louis crystal works. The ESGAA (European Studio Glass Art Association) will present the work of British artist Anne Peters, while the CERFAV (European Centre for Research and Training in Glass Arts) will showcase a selection of the finest pieces produced by former students.
ST-ART not only supports emerging artists: it also helps foster the emergence of new collectors. Building on the 2025 edition, the “ST-ART your collection” space will bring together a selection of works offered by participating galleries for under € 1,000. This is a practical way of making the art market more accessible and encouraging first-time purchases.
Strasbourg is located about 1 hour 45 minutes from Basel by car and is easily accessible by train. Make a full day excursion to this beautiful Alsatian French city with its half-timbered houses and visit the Gothic Cathedral of Our Lady of Strasbourg with its 18-meter-high astronomical clock; the Rohan Palace (former residence of the prince-bishops and cardinals of the House of Rohan); and Grande Île, the urban island with historical buildings.
Entrance to the fair costs € 12 per person, € 10 online, € 9 for students, and free for kids under age 16.
