For the 14th year, music lovers will be treated to free summer evening open-air concerts in Kannenfeld Park. The concert series entitled “Musikalische Sommersprosse” (musical freckles) will feature music from a variety of genres. Bring a blanket or sit directly in the grass. Picnics are welcome, but beverages and sandwiches can also be bought from a stand at the arena and a Kiosk.
The concert takes place in the Arena by the upper park entrance at Burgfelderstrassse. In case of rain, this concert cannot be moved to another day day.
On this evening, two choir concerts will open the concert series: Let’s Gospel & Band will open the evening at 19:30-20:15 and Chor Basel (Basel Choir) will sing from about 20:45-21:30.
Admission is free.
