The legendary bathtub race, which has taken place every winter in the Schwyz holiday village of Stoos, is returning this winter. This unique sporting event has caused a worldwide sensation in the past with its quirky images and has been featured in media outlets from Germany to Great Britain, China, and India. Teams of at least three race down the specially constructed track to the Balmberg Inn in bathtubs. DJ Mosi will keep the atmosphere lively in the Mosi Bar, and the Stoos fire brigade will be serving coffee in their large fire station, located right next to the racecourse.
The fastest team and the three best costumed bathtub pilots will be rewarded with fantastic prizes. Each team will complete at least two runs. The best teams will advance to the final (third race). Children are also allowed to ride along when accompanied by an adult (recommended for children age 10 and over).
