The bourgeois love affair is like a chemical reaction of unknown components. Goethe takes the following experimental set-up: Charlotte and Eduard are a unit. Their bond is put to the test by the addition of Ottilie and the captain. Eduard is attracted to Ottilie, while Charlotte drifts towards the captain. In the end, everything could blow up. Director Leonie Böhm takes on Goethe's classic material and examines its elements: reason, desire, fate, morality, tragic twist, dramatic ending. This simulation game of feelings will be performed in German with English surtitles.
Tickets are CHF 30-70 for adults and CHF 10 for youths and students.
