Ensemble du Bout du Monde
The Ensemble du Bout du Monde (EBM) is an award-winning collective made up of four classically trained saxophonists from Israel, Italy, and the United States who live in Belgium, France, and Italy. As a contemporary ensemble, they are constantly searching to make art through music and place it in unexpected and truly unique contexts. Through the saxophone quartet they seek to create a paradigm shift in the contemporary concept of what this already versatile ensemble is. On this evening, they will be playing works by György Ligeti, Fernande Decruck, Alfred Desenclos, Thierry Escaich, and David Maslanka.
