On this evening at the Guggenheim Openair in Liestal, you can enjoy a double-dose of blues with Philipp Fankhauser and supporting act Lucky Wüthrich.
Philipp Fankhauser is in the 36th year of his stage , but there is not a hint of boredom or routine at his concerts. “I still enjoy it just as much as I did in 1987 when I played my first concerts. All the more so because today because I'm on stage with four fabulous musicians and can enjoy the music to the fullest!" enthuses Fankhauser. Fankhauser (vocals & guitar) will share the stage with Marco Jencarelli (guitar, bandleader), Hendrix Ackle (hammond b3, piano), Richard Spooner (drums), and Andy Tolman (bass). https://www.philippfankhauser.com/
Lucky Wüthrich also comes from Thun and at age 25, he is at the beginning of a promising career. Wüthrich is an exceptional guitarist and surprising singer, and the songs he has written show an unexpected maturity. Fankhauser got Wüthrich on his own record label in February 2020, and his debut work "steady" was released in December 2021. On this evening, Wüthrich (vocals & guitar) will be accompanied by Matthew Savnik (hammond b3, piano), Andreas Aeberhard (bass), and Dustin Persson (drums). https://luckywuethrich.ch/
The concert will take place in front of the Kulturhotel Guggenheim in Liestal, in all weather except storms; standing room only.
Tickets are CHF 69.15 for the concert only or CHF 106.35, which includes a pre-concert menu at the restaurant Mooi (starting at 17:30).
