Guided E-bike Tour — Farm Tour

Baselland Tourismus offers various e-bike tours this summer to explore the Basel area, led by certified local guides, who turn the trip together into an experience. The guided tours impress with eventful detours, unforgettable views, lots of insider knowledge, and tips on technology. Several stops lure you along the way, including a cozy stop for coffee and croissant, a typical Baselbieter lunch (choice of meat or vegi menu) in an illustrious group, as well as a snack in the countryside.
On this day, you can join a guided circular tour in good company and immerse yourself in the beautiful countryside. After leaving the starting point at the Gelterkinden train station, the tour leads up a pleasant incline over the Gelterkinderberg to Rünenberg, where an exciting tour of the Rünenberg honey trail awaits. From there you continue to Bad Ramsach, where beautiful views over the Basel area beckon. A leisurely lunch with regional products awaits you on the wonderful terrace of the Quellhotel Bad Ramsach. Full recharged, you will continue through the pretty villages of the Oberbaselbiet and their farm shops. Another indulgence stop with local products is planned for the afternoon. The final stretch of the tour will lead back to the Gelterkinden train station.
This tour starts and ends at the train station in Gelterkinden. It it is classified as easy for difficulty and intermediate for condition, leading mainly over asphalt and wide natural roads with a distance of 39 km and around 1,000 m change in altitude. The group size will be 9-12 people. The tours are suitable for e-bikes with a pedal assistance of 25 km/h (since the route partly leads over forest roads, e-bikes with a pedal assistance of 40 km/h are not permitted). Please dress for the weather and wear a helmet (mandatory)!
