The current situation makes it impossible for many Ukrainian singers to continue practicing their profession in their home country. Theater Basel supports them in establishing themselves professionally in Switzerland and other countries in Europe. Ukrainian singers present themselves to the audience with a varied program of arias from the opera repertoire. The concert takes place as part of an internal audition, where the invited artists can present themselves to international casting directors. After the concert there will be a collection, all proceeds will go to the Ukrainian Association Switzerland, local group Basel.
