In the garden pavilion of the Haus zum Kirschgarten—the Historisches Museum Basel’s museum for home décor—an impressive bouquet of more than 150 artistically painted Easter eggs awaits visitors again at Easter time. In the cozy garden and on the ground floor of the mansion, children can take part in the popular Easter search game and win a chocolate bunny. A collection of 18th and 19th century copper molds is displayed in the pavilion's showcases. They could be used for sweet and savory baked goods or for jellied dishes of various compositions.
