Terrie Odabi is one of the most promising new voices in international soul and blues. She has won U.S. Blues Music Awards for Best Female Soul-Blues Vocalist and her album “My Blue Soul” was labeled the Best Release by an Emerging Blues Artist ever. In addition, Odabi has been nominated for a Blues Award as Best Female Soul-Blues Vocalist in each of the last three years.
Odabi is based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her versatile, dynamic voice; the depth she brings to her music; her great writing talent; and her stage presence have many professionals believe that she is on her way to stardom. Odabi is one of the many great blues women who will be presented at this year's Groove Now Blues Weeks Basel—arguably more than at any other comparable blues festival in the world! On this evening, Odabi will be accompanied by an all-star band from Oregon.
