“How to best teach design today?” The ECAL /University of Art and Design Lausanne put this question to a number of renowned designers and critics. Their answers reveal the unique approach to teaching pursued at one of Switzerland’s leading design schools, where individual style is not only encouraged, but rigorously pushed to develop into its most coherent form. Curated by ECAL director Alexis Georgacopoulos and designer and writer Jonathan Olivares, the exhibition surveys a selection of groundbreaking projects by students and their tutors. Their findings are also presented in a publication.
